The Nigerian Midfielder has a prior playing experience in India. He had good stints with Indian clubs such as Minerva Punjab, Garhwal FC and FC Kerala.
The 32-year-old began his career at Drook United, based in Thiumpu. He joined Garhwal FC in 2015, and in the subsequent year he made a move to Minerva Punjab FC. He was with FC Kerala during the 2016-17 season, following which he signed a two-year contract with Pierless SC.
Bala Alhassan returned to Kerala in 2018 and re-signed with Minerva Punjab a few months later. Garhwal FC brought him back to their team at the start of the 2019-20 season and he was with them until the end of last year.
This time the Kerala based franchise Luca SC secured the services of this Nigerian Midfielder ahead of the KPL tournament. Dakir will be looking forward to bring his versatility to the side.

In all, Bala Dakir played 15 matches for Punjab, 11 for Garhwal and nine for FC Kerala. He has found the net six times so far, four of which came while he played for FC Kerala in the Second Division League.
