Official : ISL Club Tie-up With Bundesliga Giants

After all the talks and rumours, FC GOA have announced a strategic cooperation with Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig. Indian football has become a main destination of European clubs to spread their roots. Football is growing in india and all these tie-ups are helping in the growth.

 RB Leipzig, is a German professional football club based in Leipzig, Saxony. The club was founded in 2009 by the initiative of the company Red Bull GmbH, which purchased the playing rights of fifth-tier side SSV Markranstädt with the intent of advancing the new club to the top-flight Bundesliga within eight years.

 FC Goa is an Indian professional football club based in Goa. The club competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. In the 2019–20 season, FC Goa topped the league stage and won the first ever ISL League Winners Shield and also became the first-ever Indian club to qualify for the AFC Champions League group stage.

The Strategic Cooperation is the first step of the partnership. The clubs will exchange their knowledge and skills. There is a good plan for the project. Coaches and players will fly to India after the pandemic to share their knowledge. 
The main focus of the partnership will be on training of young indian players.
The partnership will be for 3 years. There is an option to extension of the partnership after 3 years.
